HARLEM EVER AFTER

The premiere campaign for Hulu’s Harlem focused on launching the series with a unique, culturally immersive activation called Harlem Ever After in the heart of Harlem, NY. The goal was to generate excitement around the show’s premiere while celebrating the vibrancy and significance of Harlem’s culture, drawing in local and national audiences.

Mission

The Harlem Ever After activation transformed a venue into an interactive experience that showcased the show’s themes of friendship, ambition, and empowerment. The event featured live performances, panel discussions with cast members and influencers, and collaborations with local Black-owned businesses. Social media and influencer outreach encouraged real-time engagement, while targeted press coverage ensured the activation reached a broad audience.

Results

The campaign led to a successful premiere with high attendance at the immersive event, generating substantial social media buzz and press coverage. Audience engagement exceeded expectations, with an increase in Hulu viewership and a significant boost in the show’s cultural visibility. The activation fostered a deeper connection between the show and its audience, reinforcing Harlem as a culturally relevant series.
